AmeriHealth has a variety of networks — making health insurance more affordable for you, your family, or your business. Networks differ based on geography as well as participating doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers.

National Access
Available through the Multiplan PHCS National Network for services obtained outside of the Regional Preferred service area.1,2
Regional Preferred
One of the largest networks of doctors, hospitals, and labs in the state of New Jersey.3 Members have access to participating physicians and providers in New Jersey, Delaware, and Southeastern Pennsylvania.2
Regional Preferred with NY Access
When a Small Group (EPO) and Large Group (EPO, PPO, POS NG, and CMM) newly purchases or is renewing into a Regional Preferred plan with these products, they will have access to the Emblem Health (GHI/Emblem Network) in New York. The GHI/Emblem NY Network includes a full range of primary care physicians and specialists that members of these plans can access.
Local Value
The Local Value network currently represents 82 percent of the New Jersey-based Regional Preferred network, offering individuals and employers a more affordable rate.4 The following plans are a subset of the Local Value network and are designed to offer additional options focused on affordability and high-quality health care coverage.
- AmeriHealth Hospital Advantage plans allow members to pay lower out-of-pocket costs for hospital and facility services if they use a participating AmeriHealth Hospital Advantage provider. Tier 2 providers are available through the AmeriHealth New Jersey Local Value network.5 View tiered facilities.
- AmeriHealth Advantage plans are offered in collaboration with the following health systems: AtlantiCare, Cape Regional Medical Center, Cooper University Healthcare, Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Hackensack Meridian Health, and RWJBarnabas Health.6,7 Learn more.
Value Plus access
Value Plus gives members access to participating providers throughout New Jersey, plus access to providers in Delaware and Southeastern Pennsylvania, and providers in the GHI/Emblem network in New York.
