Worksite Wellness

Step 5: Obtain External Support

Steps to getting started

Your ability to get support from external sources can help you minimize the time it takes to get your program up and running.

Wellness Partners

Rely on our health care expertise

Rather than create resources from scratch, you may join the AmeriHealth Wellness Partners® program and take advantage of the professional workshop materials, references, and program ideas we’ve already developed. Once you join, our health education team will provide you with the following support and resources, tailored to meet the needs of your workforce:

  • assessment and identification of your employee population’s modifiable health risks;
  • coordination of on-site wellness programs that target your employees’ specific health concerns;
  • periodic on-site preventive health screenings;
  • awareness seminars on a variety of health topics;
  • access to our comprehensive video and DVD library;
  • employer toolkits to help you develop your own custom health programming.

Capitalize on your expertise

We have the health care expertise; your expertise is in your understanding of your workforce and the culture of your company. As such, your most important role is to actively encourage and support employee participation in wellness activities through the communication modes that make the most sense.
