Meadowlands Hospital Termination

AmeriHealth New Jersey agreement with Meadowlands Hospital terminated effective June 1, 2013. Physicians who have privileges only at Meadowlands Hospital will also be affected by this termination, as it is required that physicians have privileges at a participating hospital to be in the AmeriHealth network. If your primary care provider (PCP) only had privileges at Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center, you will need to select a new PCP. You may select a new PCP by calling Customer Service at the telephone number on your identification card.

AmeriHealth is committed to managing the health care costs for all of its clients and members while also being fair and reasonable to network providers. As a health plan that had every hospital in the state in its network, we take this responsibility very seriously. AmeriHealth continues to maintain a robust network in the Hudson County area with agreements with Palisades Medical Center, Jersey City Medical Center, Bayonne Medical Center, Hoboken Medical Center and Christ Hospital.
