AmeriHealth New Jersey Launches New 51+ HMO Plus Coinsurance Product

Effective November 1, 2011, AmeriHealth New Jersey launched AmeriHealth HMO Plus Coinsurance for 51+ groups — a no-referral HMO product that uses deductibles and coinsurance. Under this plan, members must select a primary care physician but can access care within the AmeriHealth New Jersey network without a referral. There are three plan options offering a variety of deductible, copayment, and coinsurance options and out-of-pocket maximums to suit consumer needs.

AmeriHealth New Jersey has developed HMO Plus Coinsurance to be competitive in the marketplace. This product has been designed to help control the cost of health care without compromising the exceptional quality, access, and service for which AmeriHealth New Jersey is known.
