AmeriHealth New Jersey Sponsors American Girl Charity Fashion Show

Proceeds benefited Special Olympics New Jersey.

Monroe Township, NJ - October 28, 2007 - AmeriHealth New Jersey was the proud sponsor of the American Girl Fashion Show during the weekend of October 27 and 28. The event, held at the Forsgate Country Club, featured local girls modeling outfits from the popular American Girl line. The children were paired with dolls wearing identical attire ranging from Colonial-era petticoats to modern jeans and Ts.

AmeriHealth joined in on the fun as honorary emcees at the event. Lisa DiDio, director of sales; Sheila Hundley, manager of network services; Vickie Dantis, director of provider relations; and Beth Sweeney, manager of case management, introduced the two shows.

Proceeds from the event went to Special Olympics New Jersey, of which AmeriHealth is a Platinum sponsor. AmeriHealth was honored to be part of a weekend that raised money for an outstanding cause and, at the same time, educated the young girls who volunteered to model about the importance of volunteering.
