AmeriHealth New Jersey Names New Director of Marketing

Iselin, NJ - June 8, 2007 - AmeriHealth New Jersey has promoted Troy Pelfrey to director of marketing, as announced today by the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Judith L. Roman. Pelfrey was previously senior product manager.

In his new role, Pelfrey will oversee the AmeriHealth marketing organization in New Jersey. He reports to the company’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Michael Munoz.

“Troy has expansive healthcare industry experience on both the insurance product and service sides,” said Roman. “His cross-functional perspective brings us great insight into the marketplace.”

Pelfrey has more than 12 years’ experience in the New Jersey health insurance industry, with positions of increasing responsibility. He resides in Cherry Hill, NJ, with wife, Ginny, and their two children.
