Pandemic (Avian) Flu

AmeriHealth, along with health organizations, governments, and communities worldwide, is closely monitoring the current threat of a pandemic flu outbreak. Nevertheless, it is still nearly impossible to predict exactly where or when a pandemic flu might start or, if in fact it will start.

In the event of an outbreak, AmeriHealth will follow all necessary precautions and recommendations as directed by the Centers for Disease Control and federal, state, and local governments. Additionally, we suggest that you take the time now to learn what to do to prepare yourself and your family and how you should respond should an outbreak occur.
