Broker Executive - Small Business

Responsibilities
- Identifying potential new business customers by working closely with assigned brokers;
- Being accountable for prospect from presale through implementation and for retention / service for the first 60 days after effective date of sale.
- Attaining targeted sales goals;
- Leading cross-functional teams to achieve sales results.
- Identifying opportunities for sales of ancillary products.
- Relationship building.
- Maintaining current knowledge of AmeriHealth products, the competition and broker programs.
Qualifications:
- Two to three years progressive experience in sales and/or small account management in the insurance industry.
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Health/Business Administration. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Current state licenses.
- Ability to develop and facilitate presentations.
- Ability to function in a high-volume, highly visible, deadline-oriented environment.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Non-compete agreement required.
