AmeriHealth 65 Basic is available to residents of the following Pennsylvania counties: Berks, Lehigh, Lancaster, Northampton, and York.
Do you have Medicare and Medicaid? If so, you are entitled to choose how you get your Medicare Part D drug coverage. You can make changes even if Medicare picked the plan you’re in now. With AmeriHealth 65 Basic, you’ll still pay only a few dollars for your prescription drugs. You won’t have a deductible or a gap in drug coverage. But you will have extra health care benefits that you don’t have now through Medicare, such as rides back and forth to the doctor, coverage for glasses and hearing aids, routine foot care, and more. And you won’t pay one penny extra in plan premiums.
If you are eligible for full benefits from both state and federal assistance programs (Medicaid), AmeriHealth 65 Basic is the right plan for you.
About AmeriHealth 65® Basic
AmeriHealth 65 Basic is a Medicare Advantage HMO Special Needs Plan with a Medicare contract. Members in this plan maintain the benefits they have now while gaining additional benefits not typically covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
This $0 premium plan is available to beneficiaries as described above as long as they are entitled to Medicare Part A and enrolled in Medicare Part B.
Members are required to pick a primary care doctor from our large network of AmeriHealth doctors. This doctor will oversee all of your care.
